Kaleena, You are not alone. I had a wonderful relationship with my daughters. I have been divorced for 12 years and last year my X wanted to change my visitation from 8 days a month to 6. I guess I was no longer needed as a babysittter so she could go out(kids are old enough to leave at home by themselves). I fought it to the tune of $30,000. She got the court to agree to a CFI of her choosing. Up to that point I had a wonderful relationship with my girls. The CFI investigation tramitized my daughters. My X told them that it was my fault that they had to go through it. Needless to say once in court I was portrayed as a monster. The judge cut my visitaion down to 11% from 40%, tripled my child support. My kids hate me now and I have not seen them for 6 months. They don't talk to me anymore. Today is my birthday and I do not expect to see or hear from them. It sucks. I try to do things to bring attention to the plight of the NCP. It just seems like no one really wants to talk about it unless it happens to them. Its the dirty little secret of this country. Nothing will change unless we can escallate the dialoge to all the people out there and laws are repealed and changed. During the Civil Rights movement there was a preacher who said "if you see a good fight-get in it". This is a good fight and we all need to become strong and vigilant soldiers in the fight. It is the only thing that keeps me going these days.

Thanks
