Up until he recently got married, he wanted to sign over all rights. He does pay child support every week, but only because he stood up in court during our divorce and told the judge and the lawyer that if they didn't take it straight out of his check, he would never pay a penny. So they did. I though that was really stupid on his part because as long as he did for our boys, I would of never pressed the issue. My current husband got a DUI but he wasn't drinking. He failed the sub.test due to drugs. He has said he would go to rehab but he made it out like it was just one time around the wrong people. I don't know. I do know that I have always had good communication up until now and its really bothering me that he don't even call during the week anymore to talk to the boys. I just really don't know what to do. I know he loves them, and I know my husbands situation concerns him because it does me too. I just want us both to be good parents.
