My child lives with the other parent & their spouse.We share custody but the other parent is doliminary(sp?).The child was grounded for 2 weeks after receiving a bad grade on a test.We live in different states & the step-parent told my child the phone was off limits(including speaking w/me & the child's half-sibling that lives w/me.)Are they allowed to get away w/that?And what can I say to my child about it?
