Does your father live in the same state, if not what state does he live in?
Do your parents have a parenting plan?
I think that at your age you can decide which parent you want to live with, but every state has different guidelines.
I'm not a lawyer, but it should be rather simple to find out your states guidelines.
As far as making a legal transition, well that could be a different story, depending on your parents?
