You have to remember CS workers make like $9 to $10 an hour and have no legal background at all, which is the case with most court clerks as well. Do not go by what they say. I would go straight to court. Get waiver off fees if you need to. I think a NOM in this state is only like $40 if you have a case already established. I would go right to court and get a judges modification if I were you.
