Unfortunately until the news does a better job analyzing available information what it's doing is making "NCP" our nation's now-acceptable N-word.
Most NCPs are perfectly decent parents who were forced into a legislatively created class (now an invidious distinction, IMHO) entirely against their will. I met with the staff of the TX Speaker of the House a few weeks ago. After I explained the problem and what we're looking for, he summarized: "So all you're saying is we ought to start by being openminded about seeing if equality can work?"
