But mine is a little different. Son father does not want to participate in anything unless he likes it or feels like it. Son is getting ready to take his black belt test in Karate. I have to take him to prep at 7:30 am on Saturday for a 2 hr class every weekend. I live around the corner so I was taking him. Dad accuses me off keeping son and lying about the class. So I say you take him.
Dad also will not commit to any scouting events. All the other dads go but he always has some excuse as to why he can't give his time. It is sad really. It really burns me though that he is fighting for 50% last year and won't [articipate any the stuff son does. You can't have it both ways.
