Revival of ERA and the Family Courts

The ERA is being reintroduced in Congress. 52 words which include the following 26 words.
"Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex." That sentence would subject legal claims of gender discrimination to the same strict scrutiny given by courts to allegations of racial discrimination.

So if this gets passed and reaches ratification will this help the NCP's in Family Courts-or will the courts just work around it like they do with all the other ammendments?
