Is he really going to abandon the kids to mom for a below minimum wage job? Don't get me wrong as I am pro military but mom will get the kids back. And if she has really been out of the picture for 2 or 3 years that is scary.
My suggestion...abandon the boot camp idea, get a job and be parents...
