I totally agree with why men pay more CS than women. There still exists a pay gap. Who the child should reside with should by no means be decided by who makes more and the child should not have to pay financially or emotionally if mom is the best parent to reside with primarily.
I'm not saying dad should not pay in a situation where mom makes 6 figures. I have just noticed that most of the people listed on the WA top 10 list of CS dodgers owe incredible amounts of money and are ordered to pay huge monthly amounts when their listed professions are things like CNAs.
The one case I'm thinking about is actually a woman on that list. CNAs around her make about $10 an hour and she is ordered to pay like $1500 a month???? There is no possible way how she could pay that much. When cases like that happen, and you can't get the courts to lessen the amount, I totally get why people take off and try to disappear.
Most of the times I don't think this is the case, but sometimes it is. It is those cases that make the NCP mad.
