He and his ex met and dated. She became pregant so they got married. After the child was born they seperated when the child was 8 months old.
Of course, she was awarded custody. He was granted a visitation order. Unannounced, she moved 70 miles away and was upheld by the court. So, he had to drive to visit. In several instances mom would not be there and he would file a police report.
Then there was the accusation of sexual abuse where mom video taped it. There was an investigation which he was cleared.
However, her family was convinced otherwise...filed for his rights to be terminated, CPS involvement, etc. He filed to have a reversal of custody and set a hearing. He was murdered 2 weeks prior to the hearing.
Interestingly, at previous hearings the judge commented he did not believe mom, questioned her motives, and just scolded her for her actions.
The mo was suspected and finally, after 6 months, she was arrested. However, they found DNA on a card used to lure him to the murder spot, but it was not mom's...it was the in-laws. They murdered him. He was cleared and was possibly going to get custody...so they shot the guy.
Mom was cleared of murder but charged with lying to the grand jury, aiding the parents, and she fot 3 years.
The little girl is now residing with the dead fathers parents...mom is going to seek custody when she gets out.
Now, this does mirror my case. 1) mom has moved, and moved, and with no notice. 2) mom has interfered with my time, and poice have been involved. 3) mom made a claim of abuse (physical) which was dismissed after 2 weeks. Neither CPS or the courts were involved.
It was scary how si milar it was...and this is probably so similar to so many fathers, and mothers out there. Just hit home and I felt like posting...
