Huh? The "system" did NOT screw your husband...he did it himself by CHOOSING not to see his kids for what...FIVE FREAKING YEARS?!?

And your bitch about the Restraining Order...yeah the ease is getting one really sucks when there are false allegations, but when someone has just threatened to kill you after they got away with busting your bedroom rooms and you were up all night scared out of your mind...it's pretty freaking nice. But the issuance of the RO is only temporary you know...since it was obtained by an Ex Parte hearing, the Defendent does have the opportunity to have it tossed. Of course, if they choose not to fight it, the RO does become "permanant"...but only for a year. And a RO does NOT prevent a non-custodial/residential parent from seeing their children.
