That does put you in a precarious situation and, if you will pardon me for saying so, in most instances, when the date is scheduled, the amount of time necessary is determined. Who proposed two hours? If it was the court on its own, that should have been checked by your lawyer. I always check what is scheduled.
Often, when things like this happen, I raise a stink with the Judge's clerk and the court will watch the calendar and when another case settles, they can slide your case in as a priority. It could mean you have to be ready to go on a moments notice,so you better have the case prepared. If you have a lawyer, he should be communicating with the Judge's clerk on that issue.
