Thanks for your kind words. I sometimes feel like there is no one out there who can understand. My husband just got an offer from her attny. She wants him to sign over his rights and she pays him back for every dime of child support ($40,000.00) and drops all allegations and suits. Both of our attnys suggest that it might be the best thing for the child seeing as how difficult her mother is making it on everyone and going to extreames to accuse him of what ever she can think up at the time. They assure us that we WILL win if we press forward but will we want what we win....a child who is scared to death of my husband because of what she has been told for 5 years. Would it not be better to take the money, put it in a trust and find the child when she is an adult handing her all of the DOCUMENTED lies her mother told and the money....and hope she understands??? Or should we press on spending thousands fighting a woman who told our attny in deposition that she has no intensions of allowing the child to see her father, even if it means moving again. When does all the fighting start to hurt the child even more?!?
