Ok, so i have filed my Motion for Custody Change this week. Got my court date the same as my CS hearing (that the Co. Atty. sent me due to ex applying for welfare). Neither one of my 2 kids by her are residing with her atm either. my 13 yr old was dropped on my doorstep so, i figure you can call that abandonment? The 12 yr old stays with her great granny and is happy there due to all of her church activities, etc. So i have filed the motion for Sole physical and legal. I have compiled all the docs I had at the house like copies of report cards from when my kids lived with me, and my sons most recent, which was all F's because "mom" couldn't be bothered to care and she also didn't look into summer school, which i had done and got him into which he is doing every day and doing well. Hopefully all this, and the fact that she has no stable home situation(frequently bounces from here to GA and back) in and out of an apartment every 2 months, when rent is due again, and is currently staying at a Knights Inn hotel here in town. I have no faith that she will even show up to the Mediation 2 days before our court date. Can anyone give me a heads up on what to expect at the Mediation? What if she doesn't show? Will things just tend to go my way, with her not showing? As it did the last time i had a court appearance-she no showed and all went in my favor. either way, i guess wish me luck that all goes well.
The other thing, i knew would happen- she sent an email, thinking i am keeping my son from calling her which is not the case. He has no desire to talk to her, and says he told her that. So as a good faith effort and to show i wasn't doing what she implied i gave her his cell phone number and even told her when to call (after summer school) i also went through my emails and printed all emails of her asking for money, etc as well as made copies of checks written to her, and copies of the reciepts from when i had gone to her bank to personally deposit cash into her account.
