At the end she says that her husband refuses to apply for disability.

It seems that his pride has created much of his problem. How is a judge to believe he is disabled if he hasn't been approved for disability. If he would have at least applied, then the judge would have had some legitimate reason to reduce the support.

The 19 year old could well be in school or dependent and thus still be requiring support. If it is in the court order that he has to support while the son is enrolled in post secondary schooling, then that's how it is.

The wife found someone to help support her. So did the husband. Ask support for your daughter while married? Doesn't work that way. When you are married it's for better for worse, FOR RICHER FOR POORER.

I don't understand the "financial" reasons why they lived apart. Unless she was getting welfare for all those kids ...I don't get it. And if that was true, then the state would have intiated on the children's behalf to get support from their fathers (or at least partially pay back the state).

I just do not understand alot of the post. To me it sounds as if she is saying it is unfair that the ex-wife got a better lawyer for her divorce and made a better choice in chosing her next husband.

Probably too harsh..sorry.
