But, I also take issue with the media. Where are the headlines about success stories inthe foster care system? Where are the bio's on the GOOD foster homes, and the diligent social workers working 80 hour weeks to stay ahead of their case files while only being paid for 40 hours of the work?
Our society demonizes the criminals (and rightly so) but then overlooks those devoted to the cause and celebrates mediocrity along the way... it's no wonder the system remains broken.
