Well, I am critical of a few aspects of how this conflict was handled. However, my post was not abou that.
I was trying to simply convey an aspect which is very seldom covered in the media. No need for met o debate you as to your view of "why there are only three reporters" etc.
The fact is this. This is a new era of conflict. Many feel the we have "pissed off the world". All I can say is there was a conflict only about 60 years ago where idealistic facism took hold resulting in millions, upon millions of deaths. More americans died in Guadalcanal than 9/11 and in Iraq combined.
I am supportive of the conflict knowing that the US in generally honorable and howerer flawed, our intentions are good. Not all mjuslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are muslim
