If there is a restriction in your decree on moving or one in your state then she should be ordered to return to the state and properly file for the move. At that time she generally has to prove that the move is a betterment for the child.

If you have frequent contact or if she refuse to return, they judge MAY change custody. However dont get your hopes up it is not a simple thing. You should also so some research on move cases move your states supreme court and see what there opinion is or see if you can find other cases with the same judge.
