A friend in Abileen just e-mailed me. She and her husband got custody of her step daughter on Friday. Mom was living with a drug dealer, poor school performance, unable to provide in general.
It seems in almost every case mom is default and dad has to wait...is there ever really a fair evaluation? Oh yea, it's a dog and pony show.
Anyways, this was a victory for thr child as mom really was unfit. Her time with the child was significantly cut...no summer, thursdays, and 2 days on the eo weekend.
