I've been the custodial parent for my son since he has been born. He is 5 years of age and has autism. His mother and I have never been married. She moved to California last november and asked if she could take our son for the summer (june 17 -Set. 2, 2007)She has recently told me that she cancelled his flight home and she is not sending him back because I filed for child support. She is taking me to court on September 5, 2007 in Michigan. Officially, after our son's set return date to set aside the commencing of child support. I don't think she will be there...I think she'll have her lawyer from Michigan just come to represent for her. What should/could I do? I have all the information to prove that he has been here in Michigan all his life. As well as, emails to prove that we agreeded to this being a summer vaction along with a return date in September.
