Wow...can I thank you enough!! The info is great. I will read it over and over...As a lay person it is difficult reading. lol Yes I do have a lawyer. It is a new one since the last hearing a year ago. The old lawyer actually made some errors which we now are trying to overcome. Unforunatley my new lawyer has an uphill battle now. She has been seeing this fiance for almost 2 and 1/2 years ...mind you that it is a long distance relationship. They have never spent more than a week at a time together. In fact last year he was in San Diego and she wanted to move there if I would have said yes. Now it's Phoenix b/c he had a job relocation. She is proposing that we split the travel expenses and I get the kids in the summer and every other holiday vacation and maybe 1 weekend a month but at my expense. Of course I work on the "weekends", my days off are Mon. and Tues...the kids would be in school. I am concerned that if she is allowed permission to go...that she will make every effort to alienate me. For example..she had the boys make father's day gifts for her fiance and had them wish him a happy father's day but had them do nothing at all for their own dad. If fact she referred to myself and my new wife as dumb and dumber in front of the children when we brought them back after our day together. The boys say that mommy gets "angry" with them if they want to call daddy too much because then she cannot talk to her frineds on the phone. There are soooo many other instances that ....I don't really know how to get the truth out into the open. Do the evaluations do a good job in bringing the truth out? She has to do an evaluation also as well as the kids. Her lawyer is very good at compounding half truths and manipulating scenarios. My new lawyer is from a highly reputable firm in town who knows the judge very well. In fact I feel we are finally on the same playing field. Our old attorney basically claimed I had no case going up againstthe combination of her lawyer and the particular judge b/c he didn't stand a chance. That's another story......$10,000 later and we now have to undo his damage. Any help on getting the judge to see the truth would be sooo appreciated!!
