Nephew has lot's of friends, Advanced classes, going out for th Basketball tema, playing on the football team. See, all these kids have gone to school together so they no one another, play sports together, and will do for throughout the years.
I am sure my son is not going to grow up to be a serial killer b/c mom moved him, but it does set him as a disadvantage in several ways.
And, mom agreed there was a reasonable chance she would have to move again for various reasons. I testified I had no plans to move.
