Are there any existing custody orders? If not, you can move. If yes, you probably have to give notice first. If you move, just wait awhile before filing a custody order if you want to do that; keep in mind that you may not want to file a custody order. Make sure where you move is where you want to stay for the next 18 years, because you are probably stuck there for the next 18 years.
