I friend of mine in San Diego just got hit with a TRO from his ex. It lists her, her husband and his kid. Their court date isn't until 3 weeks from now and until then he's barred from seeing his kid. Is there something he can do to speed this up or get the kid removed? I've already given him a contact number for a guy I know of in San Diego, but right now he's climbing the walls, knowing he's got a 3 week wait, at the least, ahead of him until he can see his kid again. He also had plans to take the kid to his parents next weekend, Thanksgiving across the country, which may be part of the reason his ex pulled this crap.
Any help on the direction he should go at this point would be greatly appreciated.
