I can strongly suggest that he thoroughly reads and understands the TRO, and abide completely by its terms.

In other words, Thanksgiving is cancelled, until the TRO expires. If he doesn't take the TRO seriously, he may end up spending the holiday incarcerated. Sadly, those seem to be the only two choices.

The court date is set for three weeks; in court terms, that's prompt service.

Since it would appear he is following nearly the same path as I did, I would also suggest he learn how to adjust to the new lifestyle, which may include the Meatgrinder.

That's my sad suggestion.

And for those keeping score at home, my custody situation is still rather bleak, after nearly 10 years. I basically have only a little more than standard minimum now, which crushes me a bit more with each passing day.

I'm still trying to figure out if it's possible to become accustomed, there's still no end in sight.

BTW, I think in the CA link section on this site, there may be some decent southern CA "pro-shared custody" attorneys.
