HI, It is Iowa. This will be the first year for the Holidays. I called our lawyer today and he stated that if the decree does not have times on it and it indicates that you are to alternate holidays then the Holiday is ours and we are to have the kids all day. Mom gets the holiday next year. He also stated that we make the time for the holiday, it could be midnight to midnight if we want, it is up to us. The kids mom called and states that she spoke to her lawyer and he told her that because she was the coustodial parent that she could take the kids anytime she wants from us. So again we have discrepancies. My order for my kids states times such as 8am to 10pm on holidays alternating so we have no problems with mine. I like yours how you have the whole holiday weekend everyother year, that is how it should be i think. We just don't know what to do. Any Ideas?? What would you do?
