Your attorney is correct in principal, but the realistic view is that mom controls the purse strings. The only thing you can do is file a motion with the courts for clarification...your order is too vague.

The only hope for now is to compromise...maybe you can celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday later or earlier. Regardless, you will be at her mercy.

Regardless, I would file a motion to clarify. I would consider puting a parenting schedule together for the judge and submit it with the motion. Depending on the distance put together a shared plan...worse you would get is the standard orde. See your state laws for those guidelines.
