All4mychildren, I'm not sure I fully understand what is going on with your case, but it is dire. It may already be too late. The time to make your move was when he first moved to Oregon. I don't know how a lock would keep you there more than a few hours.

I can't figure out the timelines and I'm not even sure who has custody. It sounds as if you used to have custody, which was then awarded to the father, but then you say he had your child support cancelled, which makes very little sense.

When I hear a story like this where it seems as if everyone involved in the story is incredibly unfair and doing remarkably dangerous things to the well-being of the child I can't help but wonder if there is more to the story. How bad was your drug problem, before you quit, I mean? When your child's attorney yells at you, what is she saying? What is her complaint about you? We have heard half the story. What is THEIR story?

Did your ex move to a place where he has a lot of family support in the area? If someone (you mentioned a mother-in-law or someone) there in Oregon has connections, especially if it is small town where they know everybody, this kind of thing can happen.

Please fill in the other side of this story.
