There was not a plan and she does not have residential custody. We were together off and on since my daughter was born and she signed papers saying that I lived with them and did not have to pay child support. I talked to a few lawyers and they all said that I can get temp. emergency custody as soon as I see the case manager which I am tring to do today. I just received a call from my daughters school and she is actually getting her file transfered to the new district. Do you think that will hurt my case? The people that said they could help is through a comp. who is for fathers rights and I kind of scared because I am not really sure how they do things and I really need this to happen quick, I miss my daughter. My girlfriend has been keeping like a journal that has when my ex calls and when she does not and all the mean stuff she says. I am just getting nervous at this point because I am unsure of who to trust with getting my daughter back. I am afraid that I am going to hand over a bunch of money and that I am not going to get all that I deserve.Has anyone ever dealt with fathers rights people that have case workers that do paperwork for you and tell you how to do things but aren't reallythere to do all the dirty work in court? Am I just overreacting because I already started paying them?
