He has done the right things. Sadly she has taken off with the child. If he retains an attorney and fights he stands a good chance of winning custody. The courts are less likely to allow move aways as aooposed to 10 or 20 years ago.

As far as the software program I would be careful...it could look like he is controlling her and she could look like the victim.

What I would suggest is to solicit an ex parte order...or emergency order. At least you get this issue in front of the judge. 3 months from now is a long time and works toward a closing window. He needs to strike now while the assault, move away are in the forefront.

Fortunately he served he in Florida so she will have to travel back and fourth. He is moving correctly. he needs to follow the order to the "T". Don't give har an opportunity to turn this to being the victim...I would not do the software thing...perception is reality and if he appears controlling then you have a whole other animal to wrestle.

It sucks the child is gone...but get the emotion out of int...you have to let the issues play out in court.
