Ex now forgive debt, need help w petition papers

I can hardly believe it still. A couple days ago, my ex went to CSE office in Clearwater, FL, to sign "forgiveness" papers and close my child support case. She said she went to clerk of court to try and get petition to court, but clerk looked at her like she was "alien" because she wanted to forgive my arrears.

Can somebody tell me how I can get a petition to the court that will make all my arrears go away? (My ex says she will sign)

Can it be a simple matter, or will she have to have an attorney prepare the petition for it to be successful?

The case is IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SIXTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT OF FLORIDA IN AND FOR PINELLAS COUNTY

It has been quite some time since I've been here, and much has happened I would like to share, but I am fighting the flu right now and can hardly think straight.
